WINTER TRAINING – Every other training session during the winter will be at Ivybridge’s fully floodlit artificial pitch. Sessions will be 19:00 – 20:00 and Plym Vics will be training at the same time giving us a great opportunity to train together and share some knowledge! Obviously, this is a bit further out of Plymouth than St Mary’s so please make it known if you need a lift or can offer a lift.

Kings Cross Steelers away - Saturday 4th November, We’re two weeks out now, please set your availability for this and all upcoming games as soon as possible!

Reading Renegades at Home – Saturday 2nd December, Our First IGR home game of the season, lets put a huge squad out and send Reading packing again! Please mark your availability as soon as possible to allow Coach Ciaran to start selection.

Jay has uploaded all the confirmed fixtures for this season onto Pitchero. Please go through and mark your availability for as many of these as possible. This will help all of us plan further ahead and secure the best possible prices for travel and accommodation. Any issues with Pitchero please contact Jay for help.

SOCIALS

RWC Final – Ella has booked a table for 20 at walkabout for the world cup final on Saturday 28th October. The club has had to put down a small deposit of £40, so places on the table will be £2pp which will be returned as credit to the club on the night for drinks. Halloween social to follow at OMG, please see the FB event for full info.

Rainbow Christmas Fair – 18TH November @ Pryzm, great opportunity to recruit and sell merch (Including calendars!) Please let Ella know if you’re able to attend and help out.

Christmas Party – Booked for the 9th December at the Block Bar in RWY, please indicated if you’ll be attending on the Facebook event sooner rather than later to allow for Ella to finalise arrangements and take deposits. £25pp incl. buffet, can take part payment with monthly subs. Partners and +1’s are more than welcome. If you’ve joined after the event was setup give Ella or anyone from the committee a nudge and we’ll get you on the VIP list.

FUNDRAISING

Tesco Blue Tokens – Keep sharing the related social posts and pestering all your friends, family and colleagues in the Plymouth area to pop a token (or ten) in our box at Lee Mill Extra and the Plympton and Ivybridge Express stores.

Grants & Funding - Proposal for Babcock funding submitted, and we’ve reapplied for the Allianz Grant that was successful previously. Fingers crossed!

Christmas Raffle – Gareth has secured some great prizes including a two-night hotel break for two! Still being finalised but we’d like to get players involved with selling physical tickets to their friends and family and will be looking to do online sales too. If we all get behind this there’s potential to bring £1000 of extra cash into the club for Bingham and more. More details to follow!
